Child Safety
Effective April 25, 2026
Talmanac is built for bedtime: calm stories, parent-controlled voice use, and clear consent before any voice recording begins.
Parent-controlled setup
A parent or guardian should configure Talmanac, choose story settings, manage saved voices, and decide what is appropriate for their child.
Consent before recording
The recorder refuses to start until the user confirms they have permission to record the voice. Do not record a voice secretly or use Talmanac to impersonate someone without consent.
Age-appropriate stories
Talmanac prompts are designed for gentle, age-appropriate stories with no violence, adult themes, markdown, stage directions, or scary material. Story settings adapt to the listener age selected by the parent.
Report a concern
If you see unsafe content, a consent issue, or misuse of a voice, contact hello@talmanac.com. Include enough detail for us to investigate.
